• 21 to 27June 2010 – Eco Art week – exhibition, competitions and workshops featuring arts & crafts work made from recycled materials
• 25 & 26 June 2010 – Trash Fashion show – amazing creations made from recycled materials

Spring

• September 12th – Kaikoura Suburban School Half Marathon – something for the whole family! ½ marathon, 10km walk/run & kids mara’fun. www.kaikourasuburban.school.nz
• October 2nd – dance the night away at Seafest’s Big Top Bash www.seafest.co.nz
• October 3rd – Kaikoura Seafest – Kaikoura’s premier festival featuring wine and food from around the region. www.seafest.co.nz
• October 17th & 18th – Kaikoura Pro Am golf tournament – www.kaikouragolf.co.nz
• November 2nd – Kaikoura Trotting cup – last big trotting event before NZ Cup. Enjoy the excitement of the race at the spectacular seaside race track
• November 28th – Moa Beer Moa Hunt mountain bike event – located in the spectacular northern part of the District – Kekerengu, 40km & 21km mountain bike events, ½ marathon mountain run. www.moahunt.co.nz
